Periodically, I get the urge to buy some sort of exercise "machine" to supplement the free weights I use. A bombardment of exercise infomercials (you know, Total Gym, Gazelle, etc) has me thinking about it again. I'm moving into a smallish apartment, so space would be a concern, unfortunately.
Any thoughts...?

a nice treadmill will be good, if you want to jog. they fold up nice against the wall and seem to be popular :)

I vote for a bike. ;)
I belong to a health club, and I try to go three times a week for a little weight training, as cycling is low impact and does nothing to strengthen your bones.
Most home exercise equipment gets very little use. And the stuff they advertise on TV--buyer beware!

We have a bowflex, A set of free weights, a "squishy ball", treadmill and spin bike. With all that we pretty uch have a complete home gym.
Already having your freeweights, Id recommend having a weight bench and some kind of aerobic traning device.

We have an elliptical and it actually gets used by all of us all the time.
