You all have been so helpful answering my questions in the past - we are taking our daughter to Disneyland in 2 weeks and she will be 11 months. Will she be able to ride in an adult's lap on some of the rides or will she have to be sitting on the actual seat of the ride? I'm thinking of rides like IASW, FL dark rides, DL RR, etc. Thanks!

Generally she can lapride if there's no restraint. This would include IASW, DL RR, POTC but not the FL dark rides. Seating her between two adults should be fine on those.

There are some rides that they require children to sit up by themselves and not lap sit. The one I can think of off the top of my head is Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. I am almost certain that they have to be able to sit alone on tea cups and the Ladybug spin ride at DCA, too. I can't remember now if there are any others off the top of my head...

I was there 2 months ago with my 11 month old (and 4 and 6 yr. olds as well) and she was able to sit on our laps for everything we wanted to take her on - IASW, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Alice, DRR, Buzz, etc.. I would NOT recommend taking a child this small on Roger Rabbit as the flashing lights and loud noises were way too stimulating even for me! :) I hope this helps.

Thanks for the input everyone. Most of the rides we plan on taking her on are the "scenery" rides - Main Street vehicles, DL RR, Mark Twain, etc, and some of the dark rides. Does anyone know if we can bring her folded-up stroller on the DL RR or the Monorail? It's a Graco Travel System (but without the infant carrier).

Adam was less than 3 months old on this trip. He lap-sat on IASW and POTC. No problems, the CM on Pirates even took the pictures.

Yes you can. Sometimes you don't have to fold it for the DLRR based on how crowded it is but in general expect to fold it up for both attractions. :)
