Hmm. I wonder if this all comes from our childhood? I can
remember, being a very young child, sitting around with the family playing games like Monopoly, etc., having to 'toot' and runnng to the complete other end of the house.

I can't remember being teased but I can only imagine that it was a common event. I mean, I was told I was found by the curb and my parents felt sorry for me and took me home.

I don't like any sounds to be heard from me. I mean, like during class or church or a different quiet time.

Once in high school, I had a cold. Had to blow my nose a lot. In this typing class it was very quiet, like an office setting, small classs. I kept getting up and taking the bathroom pass to go and blow my nose in private. After a couple of days I had a note to go and see the nurse.

I was so worried, what the heck? I had to explain my 'problem' and they just laughed and told me to blow away in class. I did thank the teacher for being concerned.

Spontaneous Human Combustion. Hmmm. That does seem to make sense. :D

Man, for some strange reason, my daughter watched a show on that subject with my 7 year old. I thought they were watching cartoons, love Scooby Doo and SpongeBob.

The next day he is all freaking out about, subtly. It is all he talks about. I asked her if she had watched it with him and she was like, 'Yeah, so?' I explained to her what he was now going through and she felt bad. That shocked me!

Oh the discovery chanel one with the "wick effect" theory? That is a great explanaion on how and why it may happen. Especially the examples in places like the forest and carpeted rooms.

Ah, I didn't see the show. What is this about carpet and the forest?

Well the theory (I think it's a different theory) is that the people don't die in huge fires but a low long buring fire. See if the body burns in the forest (on leaves) or on carpet the small area of carpet burns instead of the whole room or forest and that "charcoal" type suface is like a sponge. Also when any animal (humans included) burn/cook the fat starts to render out of them into the spongy charred surface which then helps to brun the body as well. Then the body goes on for hours and (this was an amazing discovery) the fat in the bone marrow actually starts to make the bones burn and turn to ash as well. They also give an explanation on why the calves (whatever is below the knee) down to the feet don't burn up, apparently they have the lowest amount of fat in the whole body so they can't burn as easy.
