You don't have to register then. Just sign in with it. If you are already registered with the Disney site you don't have to re-register for the game. I played it for about 45 minutes and had a blast. I totally would have payed to play this game. I will be spending hours and hours on it. Did anyone else get a chance to check it out?

OK, it now appears that the site is closed again until 10 a.m. EDT/7 a.m. PDT. (I'm assuming that the "Time Until Open" number is in total minutes....)

Virtual Magic Kingdom has just started soft openings. Now's your chance to play the games us Cast Members have been testing. VMK is like the Simms in Disneyland. Go to http://www.vmk.com to sign up. You need a disney.com ID and password. (like what you use at www.disneyland.com or www.disneydirect.com) Have fun!

i tried to play it and i don't really get it....do u just walk around and talk to people or is there more to it??
I managed to get in around 4:00pm this afternoon, but only had time to try out the Pirates of the Carribean game and got completely worked by computer-controlled opponents. :rolleyes:

It opens and clioses, like the park does. (I don't remember the hours off hand). You can play games... I think 4 are working right now. chat with people, collect pins, buy stuff for your room... I played around with it last night.
I've been getting errors and have suggestions... Is there any place to report those kind of things? The FAQ and tech support links weren't working.

I am enjoying this game even though it errors out a lot but that's expected with Beta. I am trying to hunt down the hidden mickeys and having no luck at all. I found 2, one in Fatasyland in the grass and the other in It's A Small World Shop on the cruise ship. It's fun but I look am looking forward to having them add Tomorrowland and Frontierland.
My name is Summer if anyone wants to add me to their friends list. Was so happy to get that but I am not sure if they allow same names or not. :P

OK, I signed on and got my own room. I've also moved around from that room to other places...
However(and there's always a however in life), I have two problems: one is that my screen is too large so I can't see the controls at the bottom. I tried to drag the screens smaller, but can't do that for some reason. I'm not sure how else to shrink my screen so that they appear. I have no other way to do it. Any suggestions?
My second problem is if I start from the land overview and not from my room, when I click on a location, I just get a black screen. Do we need to start from our rooms or is it just a looonnng downloading time problem?

Is your screen res set to 800x600? I had to change mine to 1024xwhatever to get it to work (which makes it pretty small!). It says somewhere that's what your screen needs to be set to. :( It's the lovely Shockwave that you can't manually resize the screen.

I actually have the opposite problem, my game plays on a small screen and I can't make it full screen. It did it once, without my help and then I got an error message and had to reboot. Also, when I log in I always start where I logged out from and I use the main map to go places all the time, I prefer that method actually. I did notice however that the system had a hard time doing two things at once. For example, while I was waiting to get in for the Fireworks game I was checking my inventory and I got an error message and got booted.

I'll try to reset my screen res size..I hate to do that tho, 'cause I always forget to reset it back to the original size. Oh well, if that's what it takes.

Well...I just wasted 3 hours trying to get it to work. Only get a black screen...music and audio plays...no images or controls...I tried the contact page and it tells me my birthdate is wrong...EXCUSE ME?
Finished with it.
The last time I messed with a Diz online game (Toon) it crashed my system and I needed to replace my hard drive.
