Would a mod be kind enough to check my account settings?
Here is the reason that I ask. When I first signed up for MP, there was a problem with my account, or the system, whatever (pardon my lack of tech expertise!) and although I had signed up I could not post. At the time someone had to fix something on MP's end, and it was ok after that.
So I wonder if that glitch is what is keeping me from posting an avatar. Could someone check for me? I scan the photos to the smallest dpi (72 pixels), I reduce the pics to 1 inch by 1 inch, I even scanned one photo as a thumbnail, and I always get a message saying the file is too big. One 1x1 scan, I even did 10 pixels, just to see if it would work, no dice.
Javanod helped me to find the proper steps with my program to get the pictures the size that I want, I followed each step carefully, and that didn't work either. I have literally tried EVERYTHING, even getting a brand new scanner.
I admit I am not great at computer stuff, but neither am I a total idiot at it. I really have tried everything. Would someone be kind enough to just check on the MP side and see if there is a glitch? It would make me feel better if you did. It is possible that it is operator error, but I can't imagine what else I can do to fix this.
