Gambling impresario Steve Wynn has finally delivered. His $2.7 billion Wynn Las Vegas debuted early Thursday morning to hundreds of eager people clamoring to get the first glimpse of this city's newest attraction and the most expensive megaresort ever built here.

For many, Wynn's latest creation — and the first major hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip to go online in the last five years — didn't disappoint.

The cost to build EACH hotel room was $1 million dollars, the highest price ever, they are over 630 square feet, and have two flat screens, a large one in the bedroom ever, and a smaller one in the bathroom.

I was on some old Desert Inn list, so I got an invite, about a month from now, Deogge's Mom and I will spend 2 nights at the Wynn, on a comp...:fez:

And yes, I plan to take a LOT of photos:)

The best part, we are spending a week there, the first 4 nights, I am using a comp at the Westward Ho.. talk about a change, going from a one star to a five star.....

From an amortization viewpoint - yeah, $1 mil per room.

Considering how dominant on the skyline the Wynn Resort is, I could believe just that... but its far more than rooms.

I may head over there in the next couple day.
