My dh and I tried to get tix for the balcony fantasmic dessert gig this morning For May 28th. We had three phones between us and started calling non-stop at ten till 8. Dh got through at 8am sharp. The balcony tix for that day were already sold out. :confused: What's the secret? We're going to try again tomorrow for the 29. Ugh.

that's a bummer. were both shows sold out? you just might have been unlucky in that someone (or two) may have reserved a bunch of seats.

Also don't forget the river seating, it's gotten good reviews as well. I've booked that for the 5th, I'll let you know how it is.

The river seating was great, we did that last year. It seems the reviews are torn on which is better: balcony or riverfront. We were kind of scared to try the balcony in case we didn't like it as much as the RF, but we figured we'll never know if we don't try it once.:lol Of course I will "settle" for the riverfront if we can't get balcony tomorrow, lol.

Keep trying. You probably just got unlucky and the first to call needed a bunch of seats.
Are you limiting yourselves to only one show? I mean are you wanting to only do the early show and are opposed to the 10:30 one? Make sure you ask about both shows :)

oh, duh me. it's memorial day weekend. no wonder.

congrats. also, you don't have to actually sit from everything i've read, so if you can stand for 25 minutes, i'm sure the row doesn't matter.

Yep...I had the same problem for the 5/27 show. We ended up getting Riverview seating...and that's just fine by me. We've done the Riverview before and it was really nice. I wanted Balcony because I thought it would be nice for the fireworks also, but I'm happy with what I got. Enjoy the Balcony! We'll be in the park on the 29th too...I'll try to walk by and wave! :p

FWIW, i'm not sure the balcony will be all that great for the new fireworks. it's definitely designed to be viewed from the hub. i'm sure it'd be a great view anywhere (of course), but i know that's why i opted for the 10:30 balcony, so I could try to view the fireworks right from the center of the park.
