Spring Celebration on May 14th
When it comes to music, adults and youth often lean towards opposite ends of the spectrum. The older generation tends to prefer the contemporary genre while the younger generation prefers pop/rock. Think for a moment then about the one musical category that not only captures the tastes and preferences of both audiences, but brings them together with one clear message.
This May, Paramount's Great America features an event that brings together both adults & youth, and contemporary & pop enthusiasts in a Spring Celebration that showcases the musical spectrum. Specifically, the Christian musical spectrum. Christian artists Steven Curtis Chapman, Supertones Farewell, John Reuben, Rebecca St. James and Sanctus Real will come together to perform live in concert some of your favorite classics as well as new releases.
Join these renowned musicians for this one time event. Spring Celebration is scheduled to begin early afternoon. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster (http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1C003A2BF61BC7FE?artistid=733467&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1&utm_source=park-newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Issue-05-04-15&utm_content=standard-edition) by calling 408-998-8497 or 415-421-8497.

The Warmth Of Plastic Tablecloths
My family has been going to Paramount's Great America for at least 20 years. One of my favorite memories is when we went for the 4th of July to view the fireworks. The park was very crowded. It was getting cold and we wanted to get our jackets from our car in the parking lot. Because of the crowds, the park was not allowing visitors to leave and re-enter the park. We were bummed out, but we understood. Being VIP passholders, we were able to go to a special location in the park to wait for the fireworks. There had been a picnic held at this location earlier in the day and we noticed there were checkered plastic tablecloths on all the tables. As the evening progressed it was getting more and more chilly. My husband decided he would make us protective wear out of the tablecloths! He started taking them off the tables and wrapping them in all configurations to outfit my son, daughter, sister and nephew along with himself and me..we looked so ridiculous. We started to laugh hysterically when we started seeing other visitors doing the same thing!
Thanks for filling our family with special moments that we look back to often and laugh and relive all over again. We look forward to making more memories this summer!
Renee T. from San Lorenzo, CA will receive two tickets to Paramount's Great America. Winners are randomly selected. Submit your entry (http://www.parkfeedback.com/news/memories.aspx?utm_source=park-newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Issue-05-04-15&utm_content=standard-edition)!
