On one of those shows (extra, access hollywood, ET, Inside edition) earlier they were talking about a limo driver driving a group of kids to prom. And they said the prom was at WDW. I have never heard of this before except for grad night, but that is totally different right? Unless that school combines the two events. Or is there some place on property that schools have prom at WDW?

Dolphin and Swan (mostly the Dolphin) has a convention center with a big ballroom.
And anywhere that a large wedding reception can be held, so can a prom.

Really, it depends on the size of the school.

Okay. On the news when they were talking about it they were showing the castle in the MK. And I was thinking it would be so cool to get dressed up and dance on mainstreet and in the hub.

my jr/sr prom was at Paradise Pier here in DL...it was amazing...

When we went to WDW in 02 there was apparently a dance of some sort going to be held at the Contemporary where we were staying... due to the original circumstances of the trip we had a party there as well in one of the ballrooms and it was exsquisit (sp?) it was simply wonderful...

A prom is basically like a wedding sans alcohol. They have weddings in Disney hotels, so why not a prom?

Cool Factiod about me:

My high school prom was at Disneyland. :D So, having a prom at WDW is nothing strange, unusual, or new to me.

Man, that would be so cool. My prom was Lame (with a capitol "L") as are most proms.

I worked a prom at the Contemporary in costume. They paid to have Goofy attend the prom.
