According to the lovely folks at passporter:

The Disney Magic ship gets a new stage show on May 25, 2005 -- "Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story" replaces "Hercules - The Muse-ical." The new stage show picks up the story where the classic Cinderella tale leaves off. The show features six original songs and two classic songs from the film. "Hercules" will continue playing on the Disney Wonder for the time being.

OK, just got off the phone with my CM friend that would know .... (I'm not revealing info on her to protect her, but she may come here and post herself someday)

Yes, it is planned that the Cindy show will debut on the Cross-over cruise, completely replacing Hercules. I did ask if they were going to pull a suprise and keep things backstage to run Hercules, and she said "NO". Sorry folks.

She did say that for the time being, Hercules will still be a part of the Wonder. She'll let me know if/when that may change.

Side note: The Pirates night has apparently been getting rave reviews and the (very) hi-ups have stated they want to keep that around through at least the 3rd PotC movie.

I hope it stays on the Wonder through the end of the year. That way I can see it one last time on our Thanksgiving cruise. I'm not holding my breath on a princess show, personally....

I'm not holding my breath on a princess show, personally....Don't know, Tony ... it depends on how they play it (no pun intended). If they do a straight fairy tale, then, yeah ... YAWN! But if they take some liberties with the story ... make it more risque (think "Into the Woods"), then it could (stress *COULD*) be interesting.

Either way, you'll let us know with a review, right?! :p

Countdown to the 14 night cruise from Orlando to AnaheimWOW! It's gonna be real slow going up the Santa Ana River!!!  :D

From Magical Mountain (http://www.magicalmountain.net/WDWNewsDetail.asp?page=1&NewsID=740):

The show begins at the end of the famous story as Cinderella and her Prince are wed. However, Cinderella's evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine, and her obnoxious stepsisters believe that if it weren't for the glass slippers, Cinderella would never have won the heart of the prince. They call upon Lady Tremaine's evil Fairy Godfather for help, and trouble ensues.

I think at this point, I don't care what shows - I'm just going to be happy to be on that boat. Heck, I'd even be happy if they told me I had to row the whole time! ;)

I do hope the show is good though.

(It's funny - the whole thought of going on the "big Mickey boat" has reverted me back to the giddiness and excitement from when I was 5. :D)
