I am hoping someone has taken this tour before. We are taking a group of girls to the park and we want to do something special for them. Are they too old for this tour?

I took a seven and a nine year old on the tour last year when it first opened. The younger gal really, really loved it--she was totally into the imagination and make-believe of it. My older girl liked it too, but the youngest was just ga-ga over it. I think it depends on your girl's personalities--will they jump in and be willing to be silly and have fun, or are they starting to get self conscious--as they tend to do around that age.

Here's an overview of the tour we did last year. (http://www.mouseplanet.com/more/mm040610lp.htm)

I have an 11 year old and she'd be pretty good on the Walt's Footsteps tour but a bunch of girls? I'd rather let them spend the money at Build-a-Bear. I'd say call and schedule a makeover party at Club Libby Lu in DTD but my daughter said the store was "too pink"! www.clublibbylu.com. That's where I'm taking a group of 6-9 year olds. $20-$28 pp.

Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it. We are bringing our softball team from oregon for a tournament in the Anaheim area and then will take the team to the parks for 2 days. I just really want to find one special thing that will make the trip memorable for the girls

Softball? How about lunch at the ESPN Zone and some rock climbing?

Great idea. I should call them and and Rainforest Cafe for another special meal. The girls would love the ESPN zone. I may have to save that tour for our family when we are on our own on another trip. Thanks for the idea :)
