Thanks so much for posting your trip report! It's wonderful to see the park through the eyes of a newbie. I love taking people to Disneyland for the first time. It makes everything seem all fresh and new to me again..

Your trip report was great, very detailed! I was constantly checking to see when there were updates. :) Maybe you can go again and give us another trip report! Thank you so much for making my week!

Okay, I would LOVE to go again and write another trip report! I was just thinking of the things I didn't get to do like Fantasmic! :crying:

We really had a lovely time and liked Disneyland better then the Magic Kingdom. We loved the details that they seemed to have missed in WDW on some of the more infamous rides (ISW & POC) and we loved how we didn't have to walk forever to get from one section to another. The New Orleans section was very fun too! Nothing quite like that in WDW! My husband said that all we needed to do was to move the castle from WDW to Disneyland and we would be all set! ;)

Great, great report!! We also just returned from our first ever trip to the DLR. Had the time of our lives!! Very interesting to hear it compared w/WDW.

Tink doesn't hate you! You need to *charge* it up before it glows. That means a) open the curtains and let the sun shine in or b) turn on ALL the lights in the room. The other option is bringing a high powered flashlight which could be fun for the kids but annoying to adults. I'm nearsighted so I didn't know what the glowing was until the morning. lol

yeah we did all that, and it worked for a minute the first night..then I made CC and Renta admit that it didnt work at all the second night...they kept trying to make excuses like...well..maybe it only works for a few minutes and we missed it..uhhhuh..suuuure :p

I swear...I'm going to tell my son it isn't open when we get there. I absolutely hate going in there - for exactly the reasons you mentioned - the kids never want to leave and it's boring for adults. The sad part about our upcoming trip is that DH hasn't been in there and he'll think I'm nuts about going in and...well you probably get the picture
Maybe I'll tell them I'll be shopping as long as they are in there...hmmmm.... :p

When I was bored there a few years ago, I want to the computers and pulled up mouse planet and read.
