Is it possible to do a day trip to Disneyland Paris, when staying in the heart of Paris? Could you take the RER/RATP early in the morning and late at night? Thank you, John

We are going to DLP in June. We are staying at the Newport Bay. According to the guide books we have been reading you can get there by RER. The last train from Paris to DLP leaves at midnight. I think it should be the same coming from DLP to Paris.

If you hop on the RER, it takes about 30-40 minutes to the DL station, depending on where you are in Paris. It is direct and stops right at the DD and main gates. You'll take the train towards Marne le Vallee if I remember correctly, but the spelling may be wrong. You will love it there! :D

Hiya :)

You should have no problem getting to DLP from the centre of Paris, I have done it many times from Paris Gare du Nord where Eurostar comes in :) Just get onto the RER A to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy :) As someone already said it takes 30-40 minutes, and the last train leaves at 11:40pm (or very close to that time, check the timetables in the station to be sure!) I believe its €6.30 to get from Paris to MLV Chessy :)

Enjoy :)

It's so quick, easy and convenient to get there on the RER A line, that after you've done it, you'll wonder why you ever even needed to ask.

And you can't miss the Disneyland Paris stop (Marne la Valle/Parc Disneyland Paris stop). It's the end of the line. You go up the escalator from the train and you're practically at the ticket booths.

Haha no, I live in Victoria, Canada (near Seattle)

Thanks everyone for you info on the RER and everything. It sounds simple enough :D

Do you think that I should get our 1 day tickets at the gate, or buy them in advance?

Personally, I don't see any benefit in buying park tickets in advance, to my knowledge there are no discounts, in fact you have to pay for delivery! And as you are in Canada you won't even have the benefit of paying in your own currency, so my advise would be wait until you arrive :)

The major RER and Metro station Ticket Offices were selling combo rail and admission tickets, but I don't know if they afforded any sort of savings. I sort of doubt it. And if you already had a Paris Visite or Carte Orange Pass valid to Zone 5, you likely wouldn't need or want the train part of the combo ticket.

But if you are purchasing Metro/RER tickets as you go, or if your get a Pass that does not extend out to Zone 5...then you might want to inquire if they still offer the combo ticket.
