How does this system work?
It will be me and 9 yr old son doing DL & CA ,He may not go on all the rides i want to, i remember seeing something a while back as to wait with CM while i ride anyone done this or should we just do what we can together.(but i really want to do TOT)
He has been on some big coasters here in Australia (Leathal Weapon at www.movieworld.com.au (http://) )
so he may change his mind when we get there we will just wait and see.

I use switch passes all the time.. But it is if you have a child who is under the height requirment.. FOr instance.. I have a 4 and 2 year old.... My 4 year old can do tower because she is 41 inches..soooooo..while the 2 of us ride, my husband waits until I return (with his switch pass)..and he goes through the fast pass line so he doesnt have to wait in the big line up..hope this helps

i don't think you're actually interested in the switch pass. that's when 2 (or 3) 'adults' have a child too small to go on the ride, so they switch off and each take the ride without the child so they don't have to get back into line.
in your case, you should ask the greeter CM what your son should do while you go on the ride.

FYI, there's a recent thread on this topic here (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=38507) that you might find helpful.

You can't leave your son with a CM while you ride, they are not going to be responsible for babysitting for you if that is what you are thinking. There are some babysitting services available at the hotels if you want to leave him in someone's care while you set aside some time to go on rides he isn't interested in. I think it depends on your child. Is he responsible enough to be left alone while you ride? Only you will know if you can leave him or not. Maybe he would want to watch one of the shows while you ride? If you do split up to do rides, make sure to take advantage of the single rider lines - just ask the greeter CM if there is a single rider pass or single rider line for that particular ride.
