How often do you out there get driver updates for your
hardware? Do you have a regular schedule? ...I myself, seem to
forget about updates and really only get them as a last resort when
something goes wrong with a printer or something.

If it aint broke.... no schedule here - but if Windoz Update lists one I'll at least consider checking the vendor site before taking an update from either source.

Depending on which machines. My own machine then I'll look for new drivers about every 2 months depending on the harware (Video Cards about 1 month, sound card 6 months, moter board every month for the first 6 months of it's life then about 6 monthly after that).
On our system at work then we check for new updates for every new image (Which is normally every 6 months) If a driver has been released for more than a month it can be considered but less than that then it will wait until the next image.
For the average person. Unless you have an issue or the drivers add functionality then ask yourself why you are upgrading? It is normally a good idea to considerupdating every 6 months or so as new drivers often help performance and stability especially video and chipset drivers.
