I just tried Kathy Smith's Cardio Kickboxing, and even though Collage Video says the choreography is basic, I can't even manage the freakin' warmup! I was okay with the pivot and punch bit, but when she got up to the knee lifts with punching I discovered I'm apparently incapable of coordinating my arms and legs, and after rewinding half a dozen times I gave up in frustration. It didn't help that she launched into that at full speed and didn't tell us how many punches between knee lifts (I assumed three, so that the knee would come up with the alternate arm, since the knee lift wasn't with every punch, but I still wound up off tempo from the bloody tape).

Are there any aerobics workouts for the woefully uncoordinated?

I know what you mean. A long time ago I bought a Jane Fonda tape with a step and I thought it was going to kill me. I got use to it and lost some weight from it (like 15 pounds) but then I got bored. I then bought a Reebok Cardio one and that really pushes you. I am OK with Aerobic moves now, but it does take time and patience to learn them. Good luck :) I really like step aerobics but Taebo is better for me to lose weight- I like the all over workout better.

I'm sure eventually my Tae Bo tapes will get here. Until then, I keep fighting with this one. I'm sure I'd enjoy it if I could get all my limbs to cooperate.

I have the most trouble with aerobics. I can do the step some what, kick boxing and the weight lifting squat routine, but as soon as they say low impact areobics I get sooo lost. I stare at the TV in confusion sometimes. (Of course I just did that on one of the step routines a couple of days ago...LOL). The good news is If you keep at it it will get easier. I watch for a bit then I try what they are doing until I'm lost again then I try again. I can do all the routines on the first 3 videos now. I put in the new DVD a couple of days ago and stared in confusion again. Soon, I will have 3 more routines to learn, but for now I'm sticking with the ones I'm getting good at..:) Just kep at it...the routines will get easier and easier..:)

I've been doing the Firm. It combines taebo, kickboxing moves, with arebis, weight training and yoga. I really like them, because it's not just one thing. Also, my sculpting stick came with 3 videos and my step came with 3 more. Every video is different and I have not gotten bored yet. :)

It gets easier - the point is to keep moving, not perfect synched movements (but don't do anything to get hurt!)
