Can anyone tell me why oh why there are no changing tables in the mens restrooms at Disneyland?? We just got back from a 4 day trip and I changed EVERY diaper for our 8 month old son the entire time we were there...just seems so "old fashioned" in this day and age, when men are so involved in the caretaking of kids that there are still only tables in the ladies room...

Or is my husband lying and there really ARE changing tables in the mens restrooms??? hehehe :D

Now that makes me wonder. DH usually takes the two boys by himself on Wed or Thursday and he never said anything about changing tables. I guess he must change them in the stroller then. I know there is a family bathroom in bug land at DCA. I bet there is one at the baby care center, but thats really out of the way for most of the park.

Ok so this got me curious, and I started thinking about our trips when the kids were younger....I remember my husband changing Diapers...so I called him, he said as far as he could remember there are changing tables in the mens rooms...just a heads up for next time :) (His actual quote was "of course there are")

(sorry)

Edited to add...there is a column on this site about the happiest pottys on earth (I don't know how to link) but that may it clear up.

(ps by DH may be wrong too)

My husband changed diapers in the men's restrooms at DL on changing tables.

What a great list, THANKS!

So what I'm thinking is the first time he tried to change our son, he was in one of the few with no table and made a blanket decision that NONE of the men's rooms had tables...boy is someone in for some serious diaper changing duty!

Thanks agagin!

It's a little out of date (sorry!) but here's a link to the aforementioned Happiest Potties Summary page (http://www.mouseplanet.com/potties/summary.html). Any Potty that has "CT" by it has a changing table. If the men's room doesn't it says, "CT (Women's)"

Maybe you were at the wrong bathrooms?

Also, remember that entire families can go into the super duper wonderful Baby Care Centers!

I hate to tell you this, but I suspect your husband really did pull one over on you. I honestly can't think of a single Men's restroom in either of the DLR parks that doesn't have a changing table. I've made use of most of them since my son was born...

Your hubby is in trouble! LOL

I love the Baby Care Center at DL and always go there even if I am not near it, to change diapers.

If I could stray away from the parks for a moment....do most men's bathroom at other places (malls, restaurants, etc) have changing tables? I've always just taken my husband's word for it that they don't.

From what my husband has told me, some have changing tables and some don't. I've even seen some women's restrooms that didn't have tables.

my husband (bless his heart) has changed his fair share of diapers at home and elsewhere, He sais that most mens rooms have changing stations...the only ones he can think of that don't are older stores. but anything (new or remodled) in the last 10 years has not been a problem for him (I say 10 yrs because thats how old our oldest is) before that, I don't know.

my husband sais your hubby should get diaper duty for the next week. :D
(Gawn I love that man)

That is too funny...I 'll let him know that not even other men are defending him!

See, what compounds this situation for us is the fact that we have 3 daughters (ages 14, 12, and 7) whom I obviously have spent the last 14 years changing and standing in all the looooooong womens restroom lines with. Well, we finally have our little boy and I think I'm getiing a break and he pulls the "no changing table" business! He's got some serious diapering changing in his future now that I know the truth! LOL!

I can't recall any men's room at Disneyland that doesn't have a changing table. Since (according to my DW) the tables in the women's rooms are in high demand, I offer to change my son's diapers more often since the men's room tables are usually vacant.

I have had my husband tell me before there was not a changing table in a restaurant and I confronted the manager about it. He said there was in the Handicap stall. Soo you may want to try that one on your husband... honey, did you check the last stall?
