I have two kids that we may be taking to Florida around Thanksgiving (the weekend before). Which resort is the best for kids? Keep in mind, they LOVE the pool (it's still pretty warm in Florida in November, right?).
Your input is appreciated! :-)

I suggest Port Orleans French Quarter, its still affordable but not to expensive and I mainly pick it because of the killer dragon pool. :) Here is a picture of it, it has water falls and its huge and my daughters (5 and 9) just love it!
Dragon Slide (http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/fq58.jpg)
Perks:
Dragon Slide Pool
Short bus ride to all the parks
Boat to Downtown Disney
Horse and Carriage Rides at Night
A Jazz Club for Mom/Dad
Arcade
Bicycle Rentals
The buildings are also closer together so there is minimal walking.
I took an bunch of photos while we were there last May that show a little of everything. Hope you find what your looking for!!:)

We were considering the Poly because it is on the monorail line and we stayed there for our honeymoon ages ago. How does that compare to Port Orleans - especially pool-wise? (I know the Poly is more expensive!)

We will be staying at the Beach Club in July. One of the reasons why we selected the Beach Club was because our almost 6 year old LOVES to hang out in the pool and we've heard so many positive things about Stormalong Bay, the pool that is shared by the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. It was a tough decision for us because all the resort pools sound unique and fabulous in their own way. The other factors we considered in our decision was the proximity of this resort to Epcot (our favorite park) and also the proximity to the Boardwalk. July also happens to be the start of value season for this particular resort so we took that into consideration too.

I've never stayed at the Poly so I can't give you an adequate opinion. :)

'The pool at the Poly was redone a few years ago. It has a volcano with a water slide and waterfall. It looks like alot of fun. The Beach Club has a great pool area Stormalong Bay. It has a water slide that is a old ship, a lazy river,a whirlpool, and it has a sandy bottom instead of concrete. We have been there twice our girls love it. They would rather stay at Stormalong Bay than go to a water park. We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. The pool area Old Man River had a fun water slide and a big area to swim around. It all depends how much you want to spend and which parks you want to be close to or if you want to be on a monorail line.

The Grand Floridian has a great pool too with a zero depth entry (great for little ones) and a slide.

WOW, just looking at the pictures makes me want to reconsider the Beach Club. hehe Beach Club is the BEST but might be too much for really young children! When my boys were too little, only my husband and I were able to enjoy all of the fun things at that pool area!

We went just before the Thanksgiving rush a couple of years ago and it was too cold to swim. I think it will be hit or miss. If your children are over 6, Stormalong Bay at the Beach and Yacht club is the best by far.

We always go in January and there are normally a few days where it's warm enough to swim and a few days where you need a winter jacket!
