ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- The Walt Disney Co. agreed to sell the Anaheim Mighty Ducks to billionaire Henry Samueli and his wife Susan.

The deal, announced Friday by Samueli, is subject to approval by the NHL. Samueli's company operates the Arrowhead Pond, where the Mighty Ducks play.Personally, I see this as a good thing ... selling to an entity that has a presence (and LOYALTY) to the community.

My best wishes (and hopes) to see the Ducks on the ice again!

I heard it on the radio this morning and thought it was interesting that the team was being sold when the season was cancelled. Are talks scheduled to happen when the next season is supposed to start? Or before then?

But if they sell MD then how am I supposed to get discounted tickets to the games when they actually do play?

If the sale of the team is motivated by getting back to core businesses, I'm all for it.
