The state bill, introduced Monday by Cassell, D-Madison Township, is inspired by Yoe's 8-year-old son, Greyson. The Madison Township boy was shocked by a bumper car ride at the Lake County Fair on Aug. 13, 2003, and died that September 2. . . . Cassell's bill would penalize ride owners $5,000 if a ride is found to be improperly grounded. The bill also would require the Ohio Department of Agriculture to fully inspect the grounding for electrical equipment, Cassell said.
