i want to have access to a stroller for my 3 and 5 year old both at the parks and in the resort. can rental strollers be taken from the parks each day or must they be returned at close. will my two kids be able to fit in a double stroller as they are 25 and 40 pounds respectively. any suggestions of how best to accommodate this scenario. thanks.

You can not take strollers out of the park however you can take the receipt from one park and use it at the next park. The kids would probably be fine with the double stroller. Just bring something to tie on the handle bar to distinguish it as yours.

If you want a stroller for everyplace else besides the parks you will need to bring your own. here's an idea. right before you go buy a cheap fold up stroller and take it with you. then if it gets damaged or lost you won't feel to bad. we did this when out kids were smaller and it worked fine.

I would say one cheap lightweight is your best bet too. We have two strollers in our house known as "economy" and "first class" and let me tell we only travel with the economy!

The economy strollers are very light. That can be useful if you close it up before boarding the monorail or train around the Magic Kingdom. I have twin boys and leave the "good" double stroller at home.

I'm not sure those cheap strollers would hold a 40 lb kid, would they?

My son just spent a week riding around in a jeep umbrella stroller ($29.99) and he weights 37 pounds and it was comfortable enough for him. He and my daugther fought over that stroller rather than the bigger more comfortable stroller.
