My favorite food item at Knott's is the classic funnel cake and (of course) any of the chicken dishes at the Mrs. Knott's restaurant right outside the main entrance. What's your favorite food?

What's your favorite food? cstephens 01-26-2005, 11:41 AM I'm apparently the only person who doesn't think too much of Knott's chicken dinner. Yeah, it's ok. It's chicken. Whoever wants my share is welcome to it. So far, I've liked the spicy chicken wings at Ghost Town Grill. And I like boysenberry juice. And I love the roasted corn at the barbeque place. But other than that, there's not much food at Knott's that excites me. pisces 01-26-2005, 02:31 PM They do have other things at Mrs. Knotts. I seem to remember (2001) chicken and dumplings, as well as a full scale breakfast menu. I know at their Sunday Brunch, they had many breakfast-y things. Of course their biscuits are absolutely heavenly with the Knotts boysenberry preserves. The Farm Bakery has wonderful pies, that I believe they bake right there on the premises. I remember a wonderful creme-cheese blueberry, as well as lemon meringue. That Farm Bakery also does cake decorating and they do up great birthday, and wedding cakes for special occasions whether being held at Knotts, or to take-out. MouseWife 01-26-2005, 02:59 PM I like the chicken because it tastes homemade. It is different than the type you get at KFC or any other take out, to me. But, I think it all goes together, the beans {delicious}, the potatoes & gravy, and the biscuit. I don't particularly care for the boysenberry jam but I do like their juice. We used to enjoy eating at the steakhouse but that is now a pasta place? I can't think of anything else that really grabs me. Hmm. I think we are used to eating outside of the parks, any of them. Mmm mmm. Okay, who is going to bring me some? I don't live close enough to be tired of it. QueenAlisha 01-26-2005, 03:34 PM Other than the Mrs. Knotts Place (which has amazing chicken and dumplings) and the funnel cake and beef jerkey, they food is gross. we had "Lunch" there and i sadly got a hamburger, it was nasty. it was the worst park food i have ever had. cstephens 01-26-2005, 07:24 PM We used to enjoy eating at the steakhouse but that is now a pasta place? I don't remember what it used to be, but yes, there's a place there now called Auntie Pasta's. I've never eaten there. Well, I've never eaten Auntie Pasta food. We ate there as part of a child's birthday party, but they were actually serving the chicken. |
