Has anyone else been noticing the flashing ads on MP lately? Wow! I hope I don't get a seizure...

Yeah, but I'm a WINNER!!

I never click on those things because they're so damn annoying ! I don't visit MousePlanet to see ' all the pretty banners ' . When they're animated, it's even worse ! I noticed the flashing lights and quickly moved the scroll bar down.

I know MousePlanet puts up the ads to help pay for the site and keep it running but it's too bad they can't do it without the ads.

A small price to pay for such a great site!

Since nearly all advertising is based on a click-through model, I highly doubt that MP is making much money at all on the advertising.

As for the pop-behind and pop-up ads that are a common occurance on the boards. Just close them before they finish loading, or try an ad-buster program. They usually work.
