Oh, I feel so much better with you saying that. I was about to post that I haven't been here much because my good intentions ended up in the proverbial handbasket the last couple of weeks. But I was back at the meeting on Saturday morning, got back on with e-tools so I can journal on computer and am back OP today! I was kind of journaling in my head the last couple of weeks and went up .8 pounds. Live and learn.

I'm still trying to decide if I should join the Y or Curves though.

Yay Debbie!!!! I am back OP too. Coaster sent me a low carb diet and I am doing it for a week to jumpstart my loss. I need a mental kick in the head!

I used to belong to Curves. IMHO, it sucked. It was not motivating to me. I know people who love it but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Journaling in my head never works. I need to write it if I bite it in order to lose weight.

Karla- you are a wench for losing 6 lb in 3 days ;)

I will start a thread for Feb. manana!

Kisroo- I take total responsibilty for your binge! I managed to eat almost the entire pan of brownies

Hi Bill, Trekkie, Brazen, steph and anyone I may have missed :)

Bike computers are great inventions! My January mileage is not particularly outstanding, but I tend to get off to a slow start because of the weather. My total mileage for the month of January is 429 miles. If I were to do no better the rest of the year, the total would be 5148 for the year.

I'll miss one weekend of riding in February due to spending it in Disneyland. March should be ok, but things will pick up in April and by June or July 200 mile weeks will be common. Those of us who ride in the winter have a head start on the prime cycling season. I'm looking forward to it.

Time to check in on the February thread!

For those playing along, or if you're just keeping tabs on others, since January is over this thread is closed.

The new February thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=36775) is the place to be. :)
