<!---------- END MULTIMEDIA BOX ----------><!---------- START STORY BODY ---------->BUENA PARK, Calif.--Dec. 30, 2004--Continuing its commitment to assist with the needs of the local community, Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park has once again partnered with the Orange County Food Bank to help fight hunger in Southern California. This year marks Knott's Berry Farm's fourth year coordinating the can drive that feeds thousands in the Orange County area.
Jan. 4 through Jan. 31, 2005, guests bringing a can of food to the park pay just $16.95 for a full day of Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park's famous rides, shows and attractions including the all-new Silver Bullet! This special discount offer saves $28 off of the regular adult admission and kids (age 3-11) pay only $14.95.
The Silver Bullet is Knott's first suspended coaster and makes an outstanding addition to Knott's already impressive roster of thrill rides that includes GhostRider, Perilous Plunge, and Xcelerator.
The collected food will be used by the Orange County Food Bank to help meet the hunger needs of Southern California's most destitute families. The promotion allows park patrons and community leaders the opportunity to collect needed donations beyond the traditional holiday period. For more information on assisting the needy of our community, please contact the Orange County Food Bank at 714-897-6670.
