Threads that seem similar are frequently merged. The subject matter is sometimes identical and sometimes closely related.

By the way, if you ever can't seem to find one of your posts (for instance, if it was moved or merged) you can go to your profile and click on "Find all posts by..." and it will search for all the posts you've made.
