Adrienne, I'm at the head of the line to congratulate you on a superb column.

Let me be the second in that line Adrienne. Well balanced, well written-thanks so much!

Very sad and very strange. Even from a marketing standpoint, one would think that the higher-ups would put great emphasis on the resort that needs the most propping up right now--what is the deal with WDW always stealing the thunder?

Great write up. Thanks.
This is why I read MousePlanet every day...good stuff.

It was so cool to be mentioned twice in the article. AVP wisely used my other alias, "Someone." Neato.

Must agree that merchandise snafus were a drag, running out of birthday cake so quickly was a bummer, little birthday ceremony was uneven at best. But MousePad Meet was short, yet sweet. Don't rely on Disney Co. for anything these days, but you can always count on fellow fans and MousePadders.

I had a great Walt's Birthday at Disneyland, and there's nothing Disneyland could have done to stop me.

Great article Adrianne...and Thanks Innerspaceman for the effort for the birthday party... my niece worn her hat all day and when someone would ask she would tell them we were celebrating Walts birthday.....

Interesting take on the day. I love "Partners", and not just because I met so many friends there. One of my favorite pictures of Alice is her at 18 months with my parents in front of the "Partners" statue at Walt Disney World in Florida. Whenever we'd go into the park, even when she was too small to care, I'd say: "There's Mickey Mouse!" and then "There's Walt Disney!" Walt was one of the first faces she recognized.

I do wish I'd been able to bring home some cake for her, but I'm so happy that they have sodas back in the park!
