I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Pro installed on my PC. About a month ago after all the XP security updates it stopped working. I have uninstalled,reinstalled,called tech support (what a waste of time) and it still refuses to work. Anyone else in the same boat?

when you say it refuses to work what do you mean? doesn't open? opens but doesn't do anything?
I have all the latest updates on my machine and everything works fine.

it stalls then a error message will eventually pop up that says can't find font engine.

I believe the font engine is apart of acrobat, not windows (someone correct me since i'm not sure). I've never encountered that error. It doesn't sound like it has anything to do with XP...maybe your copy is scratched, or some other program is conflicting with the install....could be different things. When you uninstall, make sure you delete the acrobat folder itself. because some uninstallers fail to delete the folders and sometimes old contents can stick around when you reinstall.

I'll try the delete folder idea later today..I never thought of that. LIke I said it's wierd cuz it did work then I installed service pack 2 and it stopped working.
