I went to this event tonight. It was great! The Quicksilver coaster was up and running and is good and scary at night! The lights were great. The whole park was decorated. It sort of reminded me of DEP and Small World holiday with all the decorations. The trees on the bridge were covered in lights and candy canes. The South County Backroads ride was re-themed to the 12 Days of Christmas with scenes depicting each day in the song. The train ride is narrated by Santa and lets you off at Santa's workshop (an area mostly for young kids). Surprisingly, they were serving Bailey's Irish Cream and Pepermint Schnaaps at Uncle John's Grill. Also, you could roast marshmellows. The path at Camellia Garden was filled with light displays inspired by local children's drawings. The buffet dinner was okay but could have been better. The price made it worth while though. The only three rides that I noticed that were down were Timber Twister, Rainbow Garden boat flume, and the monorail. So overall I would definitely recommend this event. It's a good way to enjoy the holidays.

Sounds like alot of good food, fun and beautifull lights. Do you know what the cost is if you don't have a "wow" card or season pass to PGA or Bonfante Garderns? We really want to check this out if we can. :)

I'm pretty sure I'm going on Friday, December 10th. It looks like it will be a lot of fun, and very pretty. I haven't been there yet, so this will be my first time. Can't beat that price - we'd pay that just for a buffet meal in Disneyland... I hope it's good!

I'll come back later with my report.

BTW - Does anyone know if the park hours are only 4-9pm... or is that just the hours for the Holiday Lights portion of things?

However, the attendance will be much lower than a normal day at the park, so should be able to see all the open attractions in one night.
