View Full Version : Food in the park? MommyTo2Boys1Girl 10-29-2004, 02:15 AM We are planning on taking PBJ for my boys in to the park. We didn't have a porblem doing this in May, is it going to be a problem now? rentayenta 10-29-2004, 08:31 AM Apparently you can put them in a big empty Kotex box and no one will be the wiser ;) I can't imagine why you would have a problem. They have bigger fish to fry than a mommy with her cute little guys in tow. Have fun and don't sweat it. Let us know how beautiful the holiday decoration are. Andrew 10-29-2004, 09:37 AM Security has never, in my experience, said word one about small amounts of outside food in bags, purses, etc. They would probably have something to say if you tried to bring in a big cooler or a bucket of KFC, but a couple of sandwiches? Don't worry about it. D-lander 1956 10-29-2004, 10:09 AM I don't think they will say anything about bringing the food into the park. However my hubby and I were eating lunch in Toon town one day this last summer. A family sat down at a table next to us and opened up a bag of outside food and proceeded to eat their large lunch, taking up a table. A security officer approached them and basically explained the tables were for "paying food" He asked them to take their lunch to the picnic area outside the main gate! So i would just be a little discreet while munching :D GusMan 10-29-2004, 01:28 PM I think D-Lander has the right idea. Its about keeping a low profile. A couple of sandwitches, a couple baggies of trail mix and the like are not going to be a problem. Bottled water is usualy not a problem either - in moderation. Each one of us tends to carry a bottle in with us. Never had anyone say anything. |
