Paramount's Great America Guest Newsletter #16 | Nick-Or-Treat
Trick-Or-Treat Nickelodeon®-Style
It's downright eery, the amount of family fun awaiting kids 12 and younger during PGA's Nick-or-Treat, running Oct. 16–17, 23–24 and 30 from noon to 4 p.m. Whether dressed as high-flying ninjas, fashionable ballerinas or ghoulish monsters, kids are invited to put on their Halloween costumes, search for treats in treasure-hunting style and celebrate the spooktacular holiday.
The only event on the West Coast where kids can wear costumes and trick-or-treat alongside their friends from Nickelodeon, Nick-or-Treat provides each little ghoul and goblin with a Halloween treat bag and map that will lead them on a fun-filled search for candy through Nickelodeon Central. Each stop will be brightly decorated with hay bales and pumpkins where Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants™ and Dora the Explorer™ will be waiting to greet their fans with sweet treats.
Nick-or-Treat culminates in Hollywood Plaza at 5 p.m. with a special “Meet the Nicktoons LIVE” Halloween show. Guests of all ages will be treated to a half-hour meet-and-greet with all their Nickelodeon friends.
“Nick-or-Treat is a safe, one-of-a-kind Halloween experience designed specifically for our younger guests and their families, and it is free with park admission,” said Rod Rankin, senior vice president and general manager of Paramount's Great America.
The park will be open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. For the safety of all guests, no costumes with loose articles such as capes or accessories that could interfere with rides or attractions will be allowed. PGA requests no costumes on guests over 12 years of age. Masks and make-up that could obstruct vision will need to be removed before attempting to get on any ride or attraction. Guests infringing on these guidelines will be asked to modify their costumes to comply with park rules. Paramount's Great America opens at 10 a.m. weekends through Saturday, October 30, 2004. For operating hours, a complete schedule of events and discount tickets visit www.pgathrills.com or call 408-988-1776.

Family's Favorite Thing To Do: Share PGA With Friends
“We've been VIP Passholders for several years and love all the benefits. Our favorite perk is the Bring-A-Friend-Free day because it allows us to bring people who otherwise might not be able to experience the Park. Many friends of our children have been recipients of these free passes and it's always fun to bring someone new. My son Kraig is now tall enough to ride the roller coasters and that's great, but the fact his friends can be there right beside him makes it even more special. Thanks for giving us a way to share your Park with others!”
- Kathy F. from Cupertino, CA will receive two tickets to Paramount's Great America. Winners are randomly selected. Submit your entry (http://www.parkfeedback.com/news/memories.aspx)!
Note: There are several Bring-A-Friend Free days scheduled in October for VIP Passholders. Bring-A-Friend Free October 16-17, 23-24 and 30th.
