Hakuna Makarla 10-09-2004, 08:08 AM I know this sounds a bit dumb, but is there a space mountain at disneyland or was there? I went to the doctors yesterday and she told me to be sure to go on space mountain, but I do not think there is one at disneyland. I am a bit confused. he kept telling me to go on certain rides and I have not heard of them.
Andrew 10-09-2004, 10:54 AM Karla, there is but it's closed for a massive refit until next November.
heidiwhr 10-09-2004, 10:59 AM It closed unexpectedly early in April 2003, and will be back up in it's new form Nov. 2005. You missed one of the best DL rides - the WDW version is just not the same without the music playing in your ear. I will miss the music...and the ride!
Opus1guy 10-09-2004, 05:57 PM I know this sounds a bit dumb, but is there a space mountain at disneyland or was there?
All 3 Disneylands and Florida's Magic Kingdom (Disneyland Florida, if you will) have Space Mountains.
bluepearl 10-15-2004, 02:39 PM Very cool, Olivier! Although it seems pretty simple to make, I still like it.
Can you give me background information (whatever is available) on this? Although my ride on Space Mountain in Paris was bumpy (typical I've heard, from the manufacturer - is it Intamin or Vekoma?), I would definitely ride it again!

Hi!
I've heard it's Vekoma...
About the logo, I found this information on a french website called DLRPmagazine.com ( www.dlrpmagazine.com ), which usually provides with very reliable news. But who knows...? This might be a hoax after all. :|
What is surprising is that this logo has no 'Dicoveryland' style at all, it's very different.
I think official information will come soon now ;)
Olivier de France 10-18-2004, 09:56 AM More information and logos.
