Waa waa waa... lisap 11-25-2001, 04:26 PM Hellloooooo? :D zapppop 11-25-2001, 07:23 PM You mean the one at the bottom of the home page ? lisap 11-25-2001, 08:20 PM Well, maybe I'm missing something, but on the homepage there used to be a flashing temp sign for DL and WDW, then a five day forcast. Am I nuts? What's up? Alex S. 11-26-2001, 06:24 AM As far as I can tell the temperatures are still there. If you click on them, you will be taken to a page with much more information. lisap 11-26-2001, 07:37 AM Hmmm. Oh well, maybe dementia is hitting me early. Don't see it. No biggie, if it rains, it rains--checking it will do no good. :) Matterhorn Fan 11-26-2001, 12:44 PM Well, I say if you want to know what the weather's like, just stick your head out the window. But the weather's still there on the home page. I just looked now and it seemed that the DL one was broken (little white box with red x) but it did say "Click Here for Weather," and I'm assuming that links to something. lisap 11-26-2001, 08:19 PM OK Alex and Matterhorn Fan, I believe that you see the Temp/weather boxes on the Mouseplanet Home Page, I really do. Maybe my computer is not upgraded enough or something. EandCDad 11-26-2001, 08:48 PM Andrew, I'll PM this info as soon as I figure out what you are talking about. (jk) Give me a few minutes. EandCDad 11-26-2001, 08:52 PM We have IE 6.0.26 on Windows XP (is that a platform?). We are using Norton Internet Security with Ad Blocking enabled. Andrew 11-26-2001, 09:24 PM I suspect your ad blocker software is causing the weather images to not display, because they are roughly ad banner size. Try turning off the blocking and reloading the main page, just for a moment. lisap 11-27-2001, 07:24 AM Thank you Andrew!! Eandc will get right on that ;) (thanks honey) EandCDad 11-27-2001, 07:52 AM I'll try that tonight when I get home. However, if that is the problem then I'm going to have to show lisap where the weather channel site is because I like the ad blocker and I don't think we will disable it just for this. Thanks for checking Andrew. Andrew 11-27-2001, 10:44 AM Weather.com's Anaheim page (http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USCA0027?GO=GO) Weather.com's Kissimmee page (http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USFL0248?GO=GO) (closest city to WDW) EandCDad 11-27-2001, 08:00 PM Originally posted by Andrew I suspect your ad blocker software is causing the weather images to not display, because they are roughly ad banner size. Try turning off the blocking and reloading the main page, just for a moment. Your suspicions were correct. Oh well, its an ok trade off in my opinion. I was wondering why we have this blank space above the pictures on the opening page. lisap 11-27-2001, 09:06 PM Well, thank you all for saving my sanity. I feel much better now. I'm not crazy!!!!Yea!!! zapppop 11-30-2001, 11:06 PM Originally posted by lisap Am I nuts? Yes. But we love you. |
