Is there a week in December where the crowds are smaller?

Is all of January pretty much small crowds???

The first two weeks of December will be relatively light. The last 3 weeks of January will also be relatively light. Roughly December 15 to January 4 will be pretty crowded.

Avoid MLK weekend in January. Most parts of the country get this off.

Do you want nobody but your party at DLr? That would be expensive.

Also remember that the Candlelight Procession and ceremony is the first weekend in December and draws a large crowd.

Weekdays the first 2 weeks of December are my favorite. Although the park hours are shortened, the crowds are very light.

Do the crowds lighten up the week following the CL ceramony, or do people stay a few days after?

We are trying DL in January for this first time. Probably going January 8-15 (going on the 8th and 9th before Haunted Mansion and IASW go down for cleanup of the Holiday decorations). We are Leaving on the 14th or 15th to avoid the Human Rights Day holiday weekend.

For years I have heard from family and friends that they love going in January as the crowds are so small. We have also been during less crowded times of September and early November and love the less crowded times so our small children don't have to wait very long for the attractions. Sure there are not as many "extras" open like Fantasmic and fireworks, but for us the tradeoff is worth it.

I would rather go during the first week or two of December to be there for the Holiday festivities, but it doesn't work out for us this year, so we are going in January

I went the last Wednesday in January last year and it was absolutely empty. We seriously went on everything in less than 6 hours and ate at Blue Bayou!
