Ok - to follow up on my post above: I am assuiming I got it from the French Market Cafe... There was this little bar area that was closed and the lady I asked told me that I had to get it from the resturaunt. Anybody try the french dip there? It looked good!
Anyway - as I got off the train I saw the sign:

Then the outside menu

If that is where the bar is then it was closed. So we went inside passing the fried cheesecake:

What's interesting, is a real mint julep tastes pretty bad. It's just minty alcohol. Not sweet at all.
A true mint julep is as much flourish as refreshment. ( As say an excellent wine. ) And yes Virginia, I know some people do not drink.

hey hey hey! watch it about the hat! lol :p I grew up in LA going to Dodger games with my Dad. And I worked for the Padres for about 2 years starting in 98 when they went to the WS. And still live in SD. So I like the Padres and the Dodgers.. and have no good feelings for the Giants lol.
And yes, the fried cheesecake looked very nasty! lol - my heart hurt just looking at it! BLAH! But the food they had in there looked good. We already decided to have lunch there next time (I really do like french dips)
As reported by MousePlanet (http://www.mouseplanet.com/drr/drrrecipes.htm#mint)
Disneyland's Mint Julep Recipe
Yield: Approximately 2/3 gallon
Ingredients
1 cup Sugar
3 tsp. Lime Juice Concentrate
3 cups Soda Water
6 tbsp. Crème de Menthe (hard to find, but this is important)
6 oz. thawed Lemonade Concentrate
Directions
Dissolve sugar into soda water. Add lime juice and lemonade and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add Cr誥 DeMenthe. Chill. To serve, combine 3 parts syrup to 5 parts water. .
Per stan4d_steph, there are further important instructions: Locate veranda. Sit on veranda. Fan self. Wait for man servant - in steph's case, a bronzed Nordic god named Sven - to bring mint julep.

We have a Swedish kid in our youth group named Sven... Would he do?
I could dig up my old viking costume and let him wear it while he serves you your drink! Maybe we can coordinate our trips Stan4_dsteph!! :~D

Typo alert... that should be a "t" in the word "tasty."
I mean, gold old Monte is a friend sammich. And of course there are tasty fried potatoes -- it's New Orleans Square, there are no "natural cut" or "freedom" fries, only French. Personally, I and many LA Fair enjoy a bounty of fried foods. But, cheesecake with some fluffy whipped topping... worth another trip.
Just mark on your park map all the defibrilators you spot. Frankly, it's a fun party game anyway,

Yes, and it is DELICIOUS! Reminds me a little bit of fried ice cream... which I also adore!
