I am going to DL Oct. 30-Nov.3.I am beside myself with anticipation! The first time we took out dd she was 16 months old and terrified of all costumed characters, she is now 3 and fine with costumes. I plan on making an autograph book for her but I want to make sure that she sees everyone! (We will be there for 5 days after all) I am trying to comprise a checklist of all of the costumed characters that we will see. Is there a master list somewhere so I don't miss anyone. I would love it if I could just print up a list that was allready compiled.
As a post note my dd is 39 inches tall without shoes. With her tennis shoes she is 40. Do they have a height stick at the beginning of rides so we can eliminate the drama of waiting in line if they won't let hert ride the ride. Our big one is Splash Mountain. Thanks!

I don't think there are master listings that you can obtain of characters before you get there, but if you go to City Hall on the day you are visiting I thought that they had a listing of characters for that day. You may want to email Disneyland directly and ask them if there is a way to obtain it beforehand.

The rides have height measurements at various places in the lines. On Splash Mountain I can think of 3 off the top of my head. If your child is that close to the height requirement she will probably be pulled by CM's at all 3 spots to make sure she meets it. Before you get in line to SM, walk over to the entrance of the barn, there will be a CM standing there who will measure her without you having to stand in line.

I think this is near the fastpass entrance to Splash Mountain. You must be 40" to ride Splash though. :( Maybe she'll grow?
