Consider how spectacular (yes, I know that's a superlative for a ride) Journey Into Imagination could have been if Imagineers would have retained the original ride's plot and AAs but added a 3D element similar to IOA's Spiderman. Imagine ducking as Mr. Dreamfinder and Figment opened cans of paint in the Art sequence, or screaming as Figment's nightmares swirled around and chased you.

I love that idea and I think it would definately create a better turnout for that ride. Too bad you weren't a Imagineer...anyone having lunch with one soon and can nonchalantly bring that idea into conversation? Seriously though...Ever since they changed it I don't find it as entertaining. We just go on it so I can see Figment and to beat the heat. If your idea was the real ride I think that the line for figment would be a much longer wait which would take the congestion out of other areas.

Now am I just dreaming about this or was The Living Seas Tour ride supposed to turn into something with Finding Nemo. Oh who am I kidding....like that would happen. ;)

It was. And I've heard that a lot of work was done before they found the leak and stopped work and cancelled the reopening of the sea cabs.

You made my day! Even though they've had to stop to fix the leak, at least I know for sure that the sea cabs are coming back. Awesome!

Too bad you weren't a Imagineer...

Actually, I have two connections within the company; one's in executive management (but not at the Eisner level, thank God) and the other's in Imagineering. Honestly, though, I think that few people would want to be in Imagineering unless they were given the free reign that Walt used to give the department. I'm waiting for that to happen again before I utilize the folks I know. :fez: That wasn't supposed to sound as arrogent as it did...

What laugh? They will be changing the film in 2006/7 to a "Soarin' Over America" version. Since the attraction name will be Soarin', there's no need for new signage when it happens.

I had just woken up, and I was slightly delirious. I don't know why I found it funny, either. Anyway, thanks for making me laugh at...um...whatever.

That's not a sure thing yet. They may decide that the repairs are too costly. I haven't heard confirmation that they're moving ahead yet. If I do hear somthing, I'll put it in the WDW Update.

Oh. :|
Well, it's a good thing I have more going on in life than monitoring Disney attractions. :fez:
