Okay, you graphic geniuses out there, can you help me? I don't use Illustrator very often, but I have it for those times when my clients send me .eps files. This time, I'm at a loss. I can't seem to manipulate this logo I was sent. I want to shrink it, but I can't figure out how to do it. Also, can I just convert it to a .jpg and copy it into a Word document? Ugh, I've never had so much trouble before! Help!

The file seems to be locked
On your menu bar click object then click unlock all after that you should be able to do your think with the file.
To convert the file to a .jpg you need to Export it.
On the menu bar click File then click export. You are able to then chouse a new name and file type to save it as.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Promo-Man...I thought I had "unlocked" it, but being so unfamiliar, I have no idea what I did.
In the mean time, I already imported it into my Word document without problem and can size it there.
Ugh...I should just bite the bullet and take some formal classes...I'm starting to do so much more graphics work.
P.S. You and I need to meet one of these days soon, Promo-Man!
