Dear Everyone,

I am entering the Walt Disney Imagineering design competition for college students called Imagi Nations

Please view their website - http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/imaginations/home.html

I am floating around several ideas in my head for an attraction. One of the stronger ones is one based on the up-coming film “National Treasure”. –

Other ideas are stories based on Jules Verne, as well as something based on the Sorcerer’s Apprentice – involving real water, flying on a broomstick, and an interactive ending.

What I would like to know is – WHAT WOULD YOU DO?! Where do you think tastes are heading?

Thanks!

Magically Always,

Daniel Rappaport

Do they ever build the winners idea. I have often thought of all the ideas they should build, but those ideas are locked up in my head until the day i am working for the disney company.

Hi! Thank you for the reply! I am curious to know, though, based on the suggestions listed, WHAT WOULD YOU DO??!!

As well, on the "MARKETING IS KEY" post, I didn't realize that the post from two weeks ago was there. Thank you for correcting.

Magically Always,

Daniel

Does the ride idea have to be based of of a disney movie or could it be something original? I think the rides that have their own story are often the best. Of your ideas i think something with mickey as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice sounds very cool and i have always wished mickey had is own ride.

To answer you, the originality of it comes in the presentation of the ride system, and how it is interactive - as well as where the shop is located.

I cannot give away too many details yet, as it is a competition. Keep posted. If all goes well, as the deadline date gets nearer (sometime in January), I plan on posting up a website with more details.

Thank you for your replies!
