She's almost pretty much said that, with her comment about if the boys want to keep her in the game for her looks, she's fine with that. She did? Cool. I wasn't even really paying attention to the episode. It was on in the same room but I was trying to fix my computer.
Uck. I can't stand Ami anymore, ever since she voted Lisa off for no reason.
As for Julie-- She's smart! It worked for Amber, didn't it?

Sarge should have given his immunity to Rory. Not told anyone he was gonna do it, and just hand it over when asked at tribal council. That would have thrown the women into serious confusion with no time to get together on who they would vote out last night. It might also have revealed alot about which alliances were true as the women tried to signal to each other who to vote out while all together at council.
It wouldnt have been a big stretch for him to do so either as the guys all knew the women would all be voting Rory. THAT would have been GREAT TV.
I'm betting if he had done so Queen Ami would have been headed home last night as a product of the confusion it would have caused.
Yep! The minute Sarge said "I'm keeping it," I wondered why he didn't give it to Rory.
I always wonder why they never seem to talk about a back-up plan in case that immunity does get passed. Maybe they do, and the editing doesn't show it.
Ami can not go soon enough for me. Way too much attitude, and is the perfect example of the fine line between being seen as a strong woman or just a bitch.
No overwhelming favorite for me, but if I had to pick right now, Twila would get my winning vote.

Chad is adorable - and is the only guy left worth a second look... but Brady was HOT! And we all know when you're talking "eye candy" HOT outweighs ADORABLE.

I think they then would have just turned and voted /sarge off..since they had a plan to go for the guys..they woul;d have just substituted one for another..so Sarge may be gone next week at the rate this is going, but at least it bought him a bit moe time.
Is Chad the one they just voted off?? I mean hes cute and everything but what a WHINER...I want a man..not a spoiled brat...he was not a very graceful loser..especially on the morning shows..go back to operating your mechanical bull...the world needs all the mechanical bull operators it can get..Im glad he found his calling :D

Chad has the prosthesis leg. He is definitely in shape, and is one of those "halfway to bald" guys that can carry it off!

I'm so glad Rory is gone. I couldnt stand him.
In my book Ami needs to go as does Scout. I am sick to death of Scout getting out of all the physical challenges and scooting along on the coattails of others. I was surprised to see her even pretend to try at that flag/swimming challenge.
I'd like to see Chad win it all...or maybe Twila or Sarge. I like them all.

Scout does a lot around camp, and even though she doesn't really do much in the physical challenges she has found ways to at least not make things worse.

I predict that if the alliance of the women holds, Scout will make it to the final three at least. Who wouldn't want her around late in the game? Less competition in physical challanges - she can't compete at all. She'll go at least that far....though she doesn't deserve it. If I were there I'd keep her around knowing she is no threat whatsoever in the final immunity challange of the last three, as that has always been an endurance challange.

I disagree about her not deserving it. Survivor is just not about winning physical challenges. It's also about social skills and figuring out group dynamics in order to advance oneself in the game. And Scout is a master of reading people and using that to her advantage.
I think a number of players have found out the hard way (meaning they've been voted off) that doing well in physical challenges is a one-way ticket to Loser Lodge. And those who have complained that others are "too weak" have usually been voted off themselves too.
That's why I like Survivor so much. You have to have your wits about you, and just because someone can't climb a rope or shoot an arrow well doesn't mean they can't excel (and even win) the game.
Sheila
As far as the physical challenges, remember Rudy? In Survivor's first season, when it was down to Rich, Rudy, and Kelly, they had a challenge where they all had to stand up and keep their hand on a pole in the air for a looooong time.
Rich gave up first, and Rudy almost won. He lost because he accidentally moved his hand, not because he couldn't keep it up for longer.
So you never know, Scout might surprise you. How old is Rudy again? I know he's in his 70's..
That being said, I hope Twila wins. I like her. :D

I am confused... Why did they vote off Sarge? Has no one figured out that Chris is the Big Weenie of the group?

I am confused... Why did they vote off Sarge? Has no one figured out that Chris is the Big Weenie of the group?Sarge is a big threat to win individual immunity in physical challenges. I'm not really sure why Chris voted for him. Perhaps because he figured Sarge was getting voted off anyway. I liked Sarge; he was a good guy and a strong player. Looks like only Chad stuck with Sarge. I hope it comes back to bite Chris in the butt.

I'm waiting for Twila, Scout, and Eliza to figure out that they are the lowest in the women's pecking order. I was predicting, even before the previews for next week, that with Sarge gone, those three are gonna hook up with the two remaining men and get rid of Julie, Ami, and the other one.
At least it's getting a bit more interesting now than earlier on in the season.

Chad voted for Julie. Sarge voted for Eliza. I don't know why Chris voted Sarge out, but his vote wouldn't have mattered anyway. It looks like it may have just been an effort to throw the girls off and not show any strategy at all. I don't know.
I'm surprised the guys couldn't wiggle their way into some of the cracks of the girls' alliance though.

Chad voted for Julie. Sarge voted for Eliza.Right, but he didn't vote for Sarge. That was my point. I hate the editing, especially when the vote seems to make no sense. Show us more of the discussions!

I just read a theory on another site that makes a lot of sense and I really like.
Notice during TC Julie said, "The guys are writing my name down tonight, not Twila's." So she thought the guys would be voting in a block against her and the girls would be voting in a block against Sarge. The rest of the girls were probably thinking the same thing.
Then the votes are read: 5 for Sarge, 1 for Julie, 1 for Eliza, the last 2 votes aren't read. So what are the girls to think about that? "What? Eliza? Who would do that?" They don't know that the rest of the votes are for Sarge though. From what they can see, if they assume the last 2 unread votes are for Julie it looks like one of the girls voted for Eliza. This would make Eliza go crazy wondering which girl voted against her. And if she starts making inquiries back at camp nobody will own up to putting her name down since it was Sarge and this would make her even crazier. :~D
More evidence: When Chris wrote down Sarge's name he used curly lettering and an exclamation point, making it look like a girl wrote it.
Of course, if this was the guys' strategy they had to assume not all of the Sarge votes would be read. It's a pretty good assumption to make since Jeff stops reading votes as soon as there are enough votes to determine a loser. The guys did their best to try to save Sarge, but knowing that it was inevitable this was a brilliant strategy.
