Just received word - The Children's Place (http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Home?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001) has indeed bought The Disney Store North America. No further details were available, and neither company has issued a press release so far as I've been able to find.

The Children's Place did announce the appointment of Chuck Crovitz to their Board of Directors today. Crovitz spent the last 10 years working for The Gap.
