Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum, found you guys through mousesavers.com. I am planning our 2nd trip to Disneyland in December. The first time we went was at the end of July and I didn't take my youngest son for that trip. This trip we're going in the middle of December and I will be taking him with us.

I didn't take him the first time because everyone I spoke to said there would be nothing for him to do, etc etc (he was 18 months at the time), however when I got there I was really upset because I saw lots of kids his age or younger going on rides, etc and I knew he would have loved it :(

Anyway, here is my question, my youngest will be turning 2 when we're in Disney, is there anything special I can do for him while we're there to celebrate??? Another question, my daughter will be turning 10 about 9 days before we go, can we still do something special for her there??

Thanks so much!

At the Disney hotels in Florida, if you tell them that you are celebrating a birthday and who your childs favorite character is, they will deliver a personally autographed picture to the child. I got one from Snow White for my 30th bday!! I would imagine that DLR would have the same type of thing.

I have a birthday page posted (http://www.colddeadfish.net/dlr/dlrbirthdays.html) that you might find useful.

You can celebrate at the "Happiest Birthdays on Earth" - I think it's about $10/person. At most of the restaurants you can order a "Birthday Bucket" with a personal cake (a little bigger than a cupcake) on top and lots of goodies inside - I can't remember the cost of these, somewhere around $20 I think. You can also order a "Birthday Goodie Bag" for $5. I'm sure if you eat at any table service restaurants the staff would be happy to sing "Happy Birthday" to your kids. Make sure to get Birthday Stickers for both of them. If you don't want one of the set parties, you can always ask the staff for special arrangements, Disney is wonderful at making your wishes come true, all you've gotta do is ask... oh, and maybe pay!

Thank you so much! That link is awesome, full of great information! I'm really excited, my daughter knows that we're going to do something for her baby brother while we're there but I think I'll surprise her and do it for her too!

Thank you guys so much! I love these forums, I've learn't so much.
