I was just wondering if anyone has been to both and in your opinion which one is better/worse the same etc...
We personally have only been to WDW but we were considering taking our honeymoon at DL but we wanted get some opinions because we are either going to WDW or DL we just haven't decided yet. :)

There are a couple (hundred) threads about this.
Suffice it to say: anyone interested in both of them should visit each of them at least once in his lifetime.
For a honeymoon, you might as well go to Tokyo Disneyland Resort.
Going to DLr generally requires visiting other sites while you're all the way out here. There are threads about other sites around here somewhere as well. This depends somewhat on how often you plan to be in the area over your lifetime.
WDW, for you, is right there, in easy reach. You could do that anytime. I wouldn't do a honeymoon there if I were in your shoes. You can go once a year for the rest of your life.
Tokyo would be a bit more expensive. Use your own judgment and knowledge of your finances.

It is true that those who have been there say the Tokyo parks are the cream of the crop.
However, if it was me, and I wanted to take a Disney honeymoon, I'd go to Paris for a week or so. Three days for the parks, four days or more for doing all of the other things that makes Paris wonderful.

You know, I may just look into that. Thanks for the ideas, I always wanted to visit Paris anyway and to make it Disneyfied would be extra special. :)

I'd think DL would be kind of a let down for you compared to WDW. Don't get me wrong I love DL, and have only been to WDW once, but as a vacation destination WDW offers so much more.

In light of Alien vs. Predator, is this the title of the latest Disney movie based on theme park experiences?
;)
Sadly, I have to agree that people who visit WDW before Disneyland often get here and say something like "where's the rest of it?" As much as I love Disneyland, which was my first park and my first Castle, it is visually the least-impressive of the four Magic Kingdoms. (Oh boy, I'm gonna pay for that...)
I second or third or fourth the idea of going to Tokyo or Paris for your honeymoon. Tokyo is (apparently) amazing, and Paris is breathtaking - both are great for your "once in a lifetime" honeymoon. Disneyland will always be here - make it an anniversary trip.

For what this is worth, having practically grown up at DL and never been to WDW, my view is one sided!
However........nothing like the 'original'! DL has lots to offer in the surrounding areas. You can go the the beach, Hollywood, Santa Monica Pier as well as do DL, etc....
