Hello there -

We are taking our 6 year old and our 5 month old to DL in November.
Could anyone please recommend a few restaurants in the park for lunch and dinner. I have heard that Redd Rocket's Pizza Port does a pretty good job. Do you know if they offer anything else besides pizza?
Thank you so much in advance for your replies. :)

Pizza Port's menu includes several types of pizza, several pasta dishes and several kinds of salads, along with bread sticks, some dessert items (cookies, brownies, rice krispies) and the normal drink fountain.

Can't respond specifically to your question (the last time I was at the park with a person under 20 was with my almost 3 yr-old-nephew, and he's almost 18 now) -- but if you want to see what's offered at each restaurant, check out All Ears (http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm). Just about every restaurant's full menu is shown.

That site is all WDW. The original poster was asking about Disneyland.

We ate here with our son for lunch and he loved it since he is a Toy Story/Buzz freak! Very good pizzas and salads!

Most of the counter service places at DL offer chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers that will keep most six year olds happy. Rancho Del Zocalo offers the nuggets and bean burritos--which can be a nice change. My ten year old orders the 1 taco combo--a regular size meal-- and enjoys it.

The French Market has Stouffer's mac and cheese as one of their kid's meal options--my girls like that too. And Pizza Port is always a good option. They will serve you plain pasta that you can add parmesan cheese to, if you have sauce issues like we do. ;)

The Rainforest Cafe in DTD is a fun place for kids... lots of exciting stuff going on around them there. Blue Bayou is also great, they can wave to all of the "Pirates" sailing by. Character meals are a lot of fun for the kiddos too... Ariel's Grotto in DCA would be a good spot for a character lunch, or Goofy's Kitchen in the DLH. If you are looking for a quick bite that is on the inexpensive side (well, for Disney standards anyway...) try Whitewater Snacks in DGC hotel, they have a lot of great breakfast and lunch options that won't break the bank. La Brea Bakery also has daily specials that are great, they usually have really good homemade mac & cheese, a variety of grilled sandwiches, etc. and the prices aren't too bad for those.

This is great to know! My hubby and I love Rancho Del Zocalo and to hear that they have nuggets is good. My niece pactically lives on chicken nuggets and I was wondering if some of our favorite places could accomodate.

The Little tods say that the nacho's stink, however. Although it may be a "it's not what were used to" thing...I don't allow processed cheese in the house (I had a boss who used to call me the "cheese police") so when they get it, it tastes funky to them.
