It's been a while since I've been to the resort in Anaheim. Are there any walkways in the parks that are especially bumpy for wheelchairs that I should be aware of? For example, cobblestone paths or other raised features in the sidewalk. How about the new tiles in Tomorrowland? My wife has a "bionic" hip and after a long day at the park, wheeling over bumpy sidewalks can start to get rather painful. It would be nice to have these things highlighted in the Special Access version of the park maps if it isn't already.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few. Whoever came up with the idea apparently was only thinking how nice they might look but didn't bother to think about how painful they would be. The two areas that I've personally found can be very painful to navigate in a wheelchair is the wooden plank walkway near Big Thunder (going towards Fantasyland) and Fantasyland itself. I have a friend who doesn't even go into Fantasyland at all because it's just too painful. I don't recall if Tomorrowland was especially painful (I don't think we went there much on the occasions when I was in a wheelchair), but the tiles there can definitely be bumpy.

The path along the Rivers of America in New Orleans Square is bad, too. Fortunately, there's an alternate route "up" where Cafe Orleans and French Market are.

Also know that you CANNOT get on the train in the front of the park. (Every other stop has a ramp) It doesn't have a ramp. IMHO it's the strangest place to not have one but that's how it was built.
