Hi some of you may seen my first post in the WDW forum regarding budgeting. Well I have a few questions to ask that relate to my parents health and our trip to WDW.

My dad has a vision problem known as Stargardt's and though he is not completly blind, his can not see very well across the room and he just can't make out small details right in front of him. (His vision is 20/200.) So even though he can see and wears glasses, I am still concerned about the trip. My dad will need the closest seating possible for any show we see, so should we get a pass or should we just tell the cast members when we go to see a show? I don't know how anything like that works.

Also for my mother we are requesting our room at the Poly be close to the Monorail and buses, because she has difficulty walking in the morning and for extended times. I doubt she wants a wheel chair, but you know how it is kids wanna take care of their parents just in case. Do you need a pass for this or how should we go about this, since it may not be an issue?

Do we apply early for these passes or the first day? Any help is welcome. I know Disneyland just changed their system, but what about WDW?
