Lately I've been thinking more about integrating DCA into DL. I've even utilized my avatar to illustrate this plan!

I'm sure you'll all recognize the layout of the lands, and the locations of the hotels (represented here by the red stars).

OMG, you're my new hero. Love the avatar!

Okay, I had one thing wrong, the placement of the carousel. The King Triton carousel can stay, but it'd have to be moved to the opposite side of the lagoon, to the Island section (near the volcano attraction) Otherwise, I think my ideas would fit :D

This thread's falling way off topic though!

Some new voices here... how would you fix DCA?

You guys are funny.

1st - It's going to be way too hard to switch DCA over to DA. I mean, come on. Disney is not going to waist their time doing that.

2nd - A STAR WARS LAND IN DL! LOL I love Star Wars, but it would ruin Disneyland. Star Tours is good (needs new tour, but good) I think Disney should a Star Tours Park (I have ideas on paper for that one, just incase I become a imagineer (it could be just what Disney and Lucas needs) (not like they need anymore!)

3rd - I'm not sure 'bout this ticket price stuff.

Here is my plan.....

Disneyland - Lets get Tomorrowland back together. It's soo down hill I almost cry everytime I walk through it. Lets bring back some sort of People Mover. Totally renew Star Tours (I like the multiple tours idea) You could pick where you wanted to go! Bring back Circle Vision. Something needs to go in where the subs were. Maybe not the subs, but something. Disneyland needs to have a few more table service resturants. Lets bring Capt. Eo back, for fun. Who wants mice crawling all over them in Honey I Shrunk the audiance (Michael was way better!!!!!!!) Lets put some things in Innoventions that will build up the lines! Lets get rid of the Fantasyland stage. We don't want to watch stupid shows like Detective Mickey...or whatever. Lets put a ride in there.

DCA - Well, I'm not sure 'bout this. But as I type I will think of thinfs :p Ok, lets keep the CA theme. It's ok. It's not the theme, people don't care 'bout the theme. They care 'bout whats in the park, and the amount of attractions. Lets kick out the Limo ride in the backlot (I've never ridden it, it's always closed!!!!) Lets build a fat sound stage in it's place. In this sound stage guests to DCA can sign up, with their group they are traveling with, to be stars in their own movies. The people would be able to pick what type of, very short movie they would like to be in (comedy, romance, action, etc.) Then they go for a 2-3 hour session to make their movie. The scripts can be pre-written and with very easy lines to get (+ que cards provided!). They guests/actors will get make-up etc. They will short the very short film around the very large sound stage (a lot of diff. sound stages in one...becuase more than one stage would be needed to have more than 1 film shooting at once). Then the films will be edited, and shipped to the persons home on DVD or VHS. This is just a wild idea. Not sure if older peeps would do it. I think younger kids, teens, and young adults would do it. It would just be a cool experience. I don't know how well it would go over.

Going over to Paridise Pier. This is a major problem. This should be turned into a small coastal town area. Something thats more Disneylandish. I say tear down Screamin all together. Screamin is a great coaster, it is a quality coaster....which it should be, since it's Disney. But, coasters like this don't belong in Disney parks. Lets put in a more coastal town feel. Maybe Disney could put in a beach, with life guards. There would be feat in water only, no swiming. There could be a salt water taffy store...etc. A kite shop. A surf and skate shop. Just more of a coastal town feel. With a resturant that has outside dinning (with view of water, of course). There needs to be an attraction here, though. It needs to be a ride. I'm not sure what kind of ride you would put in here. This would happen on the Eastern side of the pier. On the South Western part the Golden State area could be expanded, and a wild ride through gold mines could be added (kinda like Big Thunder in DL, but bigger, and maybe with two tracks. (almost like 2 rides in one?) There would needs to be many, many more large evergreens put in. They could also put in an outdoor stage for concerts. The pier just needs to hit the road. It feels like I'm in a Six Flags park when I'm walking through it, not the most exciting feeling. I know taking the pier away would take away most of the parks rides, but new ones could be though up. Ones that don't stick out and STING my eye! - ahem - the stupid Orange Stinger! I like the idea of the Sun Wheel (just becuase it's the 2nd one like it in the world..I think??....and Disney has it. I think that could stay, but they might want to push it off into a corner, or something! Lets expand on the bay area part too! I mean, what would Cali ever be without that! We also need to make the gold rush come into play more, that is what kept this state growning.

Back at the backlots. Kick the stupd Soap Opera Bistro out! Give me a break! Lets put in a high class resturant that Hollywood movie stars would be eating at! We should also get a peak at what Imangineers do! (I already know what they do, but most people don't really know what it takes to put a park together. Lets get Broadway shows I know playing in the Hyperion Theater! Like Beauty and the Beast, or Lion King! Something Disney.

So in conclusion...

Lets make Tomorrowland look like tomorrow, kick out the trailor trash pier, and put in a romantic beach town, with a wild ride through gold mines!

I GOT ANOTHER IDEA! They could put in a off road ride. With the same track design as Indiana Jones, but outside. Infact why not kick out the stupid River Run and put in a four wheelin ride. That would be awesome! Way more entraining than a rapid ride that hardly does anything! You could still get wet in the four wheeling, if thats what you would miss on the river ride.

Thats is for me, I would love to hear input, good or bad!

PS - I guess my new DCA would be almost as hard as doing DA, but I think DA needs to be it's own, fresh park. DA has been on Disney's drawing boards for years. It needs it's own special place, not DCA's leftovers. Poor Walt is rolling in his grave!:crying:

They have a kinda star wars land at Disney MGM studios, but whatever... plus a lot of people like that bistro, but didn't like Avalon Cove for some reason.

Oh and I guess you didn't know me and Morrigoon have Deralier's union cards.:D

Let's revisit original post starting this thread:

(1) Raise AP prices - ok, so attendance is sucking so much that AP prices were lowered and they are still there .................

(2-3) Instant Fastpass - So Disney has already experimented with: (A) allowing more than one FP per guest (free passes for HM, POC at DL and overall allowing for next FP after only 2 hour wait rather than full return time on first one; (B) resort hotel guests are getting one free "Reserved Ride FP" which can be used for for entry into any ride's FP queue upon park entry - how long before this benefit becomes multiples rather than a single one?

(4) Flik's Fun Faire upcoming (boring) - wait until they sell previews to Tower of Terror .............

(5) $14 add-on to get DCA ............

Just watch for those AP prices to soar when things pick back up!
