The San Diego County Fair has reported its most successful year in history, with 1,250,320 visitors to the 22-day fair that closed Monday.

The 2004 fair attendance ended up 53,678 visitors, or 4.5%, over last year. This after fair numbers were reported to be meager at the halfway point, down 3.6% from 2003.

Don't forget, the Orange County Fair starts Friday.. and opening day offers FREE admission and FREE parking :fez:

Does Orange County have bands like Del Mar did?

Do you know anything about the Del Mar 4 O'Clock Fridays?

By the way, I want to thank you again for all of your information! I remember when I met you, you asked me if I'd ever used it. Well, I don't get out as much as I like but I love knowing it all and people always ask me and I can always tell them what is up...or ask you. :)

Thanks!

Heck yes, they have two main stages, one is always free, and will feature Weird "Al" for a week...

The second stage does require additional cost, but is a big lineup...
