Hi,
Yup… another camcorder thread, but in search of something different. I’m hoping someone here can me help out. Basically I’m looking for help on how bright the darker rides are in lux numbers and if anyone has any camera suggestions for dark situations.
I’m going to Disneyland in a few months and before I make the trek, I’m planning on buying a digital video camera. I’m looking for a good, all around camera ($500-$1,000), but my first priority with the camera is that it has great low light shooting capabilities so I can film during the darker rides like Pirates, and The Haunted Mansion.
Has anyone here tried doing this with their camcorder?
How did it turn out?
I’ve downloaded a few videos online of the Haunted Mansion and they were ok quality, not the greatest (maybe the best results possible?), but I have no idea what kind of camera they were using.
Also.. if you’ve purchased a camcorder in the past few months and have taken it to Disneyland, I urge you to post as well. While the darkness issue is my #1 priority, I’m curious to hear how cameras fair at the park, lugging them around all day, the quality, and so on…
I appreciate any input anyone can offer, thanks!
