The National version of Good Day Live just finished up a live shot from Knott's, showing off Rip Tide, the fountains were up and running (They were pouring the concrete for the water pond on Wednesday), and the reporter was screaming her lungs out :D

Knott's is ready for the summer, The new show is running; "Calico Carnival Funtastic", basically a Cirque de Soleil style of Gyynastics, along with three drummers....

Xcelerator is back up and running, I rode it Wednesday, looks like anyone who fit on it in the old version should be able to ride it now. The only real change is that the armrests are now larger, to help prevent someone from slipping out the side.

The World According to Snoopy Ice show is back for the summer, along with Country Dancing USA.

There are some good deals to get in the park...

Knott's describes as "Knott's newest thrill ride is now open in The Boardwalk! Come give it a whirl, and a flip, spin and whip! RidTide will turn you head over heels in two different directions simultaneously. Only one word really describes it...WILD!"

Here is a photo (sorry for the Cement truck)

Here is a good news article describing the ride...

As for Jillian, no, it was a a "field" reporter who mainly works the local morning news.

Jillian worked the morning local news from 7 to 9 AM today, but for some reason does not work the National syndicated version any more (9 to 10 AM).

Great timing on this thread! I was just coming on to post a question about whether Xcelerator was running yet or not. I'll be making a trip to Knotts on a Monday in a week or two. Can anyone tell me how the crowds there have been on a weekday so far? I usually go in the off-season, but this is my son's birthday wish trip so I'm hoping it hasn't been too packed. The Snoopy ice show sounds like it might be good. Is it usually a popular show? Any idea how far in advance should we plan to show up at the theater to get seats?
